About Louise DaviS

A personal & experienced approach to Live-in Care

My name is Louise, and I am the founder of Bath Live-in Care. I have worked within health & social care for many years, supporting individuals, families & care services across a range of settings.

“Good care is about more than
meeting practical needs.”

Origins

Why I created
Bath Live-in Care

Bath Live-in Care was created to offer a more personal and considered approach to care. I recognised that many larger services can feel process driven and stretched, making it difficult to provide the level of consistency and attention that individuals and families value.

My aim was to create a service that is small and carefully managed, and by keeping the service intentionally small, I am able to remain closely involved in every care arrangement.

Small & carefully managed

A deliberate choice to remain close to every care arrangement, not just oversee from a distance.

Quality over volume

Every decision is shaped by the individual’s needs, values and way of living.

Centred around you

Every decision is shaped by the individual’s needs, values and way of living.

Built on trust

Continuity and understanding form the foundation of every care relationship we build.

Philosophy

My approach
to care

I believe that good care is about more than meeting practical needs, it is about understanding the individual as a person.

Every individual has their own routines, values and way of living, and care should reflect that. I always strive to…

  • Take time to listen & understand preferences
  • Support independence & dignity
  • Ensure care feels natural & respectful
  • Build relationships based on trust & consistency

“Care should feel natural and respectful, built on relationships founded in trust and consistency.”

Background

Experience & professional
background

My experience spans the health and social care sector across roles that have given me both professional knowledge and practical understanding of what good care looks like in reality.

This background allows me to approach each situation with both professional knowledge and practical understanding.

Supporting individuals with a range of care needs

Working alongside families, professionals and multidisciplinary teams

Overseeing care quality and service delivery

Understanding safeguarding, risk and best practice

Supporting families

I understand that arranging care can feel like a significant and sometimes overwhelming decision. My role is to provide reassurance, guidance and clarity, helping families feel confident that the care being put in place is appropriate and thoughtfully considered.

Where live-in care may not be the most suitable option, I can also support families in exploring alternatives.
